I am establishing an impact investing circle (kind of like a giving circle but for impact investing). The purpose would be to bring together a tight-knit group of people to learn about impact investing by doing together with real money.  

 

I have yet to work out all the logistics but the basic idea would be that each member would contribute an equal amount of money where the capital would be invested for impact. We would research investment opportunities, put together an impact measurement framework, and make investment decisions together. The Circle would be governed by a charter and set of rules where each member would have an equal say in how the funds are directed.
